Connect GV

2017 $7,200. This funding was used to purchase a Sensory Bed, and an adjustable change table. The bed uses Vibroacoustic therapy for high support need clients. The change table was required to reduce instances of injuries to caregivers.


tallygaroopna Mens shed

2017 $2,700. For the further development of the men's shed and purchase of items needed for ongoing operations such as a hot water urn, defibrillator, laptop and printer. "...we now have that security of knowing we could assist a member if in trouble with heart issues."

Shepparton Rowing Club

2017 $3,000. These funds were used to purchase exercise equipment for the club such as ergometers, medicine balls, weight set, bench press and weight plates.


GV Health Foundation

2017 $10,000. This money was a contribution to the purchase of a Cardiac Ultra Sound System for intensive care patients at GV Health. The total cost of the machine was $69,000 with the remaining funds being sourced by the foundation.

2017 $6,000. Funds were used to purchase 5 tables and 50 chairs to allow disadvantaged youth in need of a healthy meal to dine together at 'The Haven'. 

mooroopna recreation reserve committee

2017 $3,500. To contribute to the upgrade of shower facilities and change rooms at the reserve and install two new hot water systems.

Bendigo Regional Appaoloosa Club

2017 $1,500. A contribution towards a tandem trailer to move equipment.

2017 $2,500. A contribution to the development of Stephen Crescent Park with funds used for materials to construct a half court basketball.

Better together alliance

2017 $5,500. Funds were used to secure professional speaker Susan McLean to present at cybersecurity event at Shepparton High School.

Christmas in july organising committee

2017 $2,000. A contribution to build and maintain an inclusive wheelchair access miniature train carriage at Kidstown.

2017 $10,000. To fund the Food Share program for 4 months, helping those that need access to emergency food.
